Privacy policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy deals with the personal data that is collected on this website. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you, either directly or indirectly.  For example, personal data includes your contact details (e.g. surname, first name, postal address), but also your location, an identification number (e.g. IP address), a photo, and so on.  In this respect, the present Privacy Policy applies only to natural persons (hereinafter referred to as “Data Subjects”), whether private individuals or professionals, with the exception of legal entities.  The Foundation MSF only collects personal data that is strictly necessary for the achievement of specific, explicit and legitimate purposes. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe how we do this.  This Privacy Policy is based primarily on two texts:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, (“General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR”);  
  • Law n°78/17 of January 6, 1978 as amended (“Loi Informatique et Libertés”).

2. Source of data

Your data is collected from the contact form that you may fill out on the website in order to obtain more information about Antibiogo. 

3. Type of data

The type of personal data we collect is the data that is collected through the contact form, namely:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Type and name of organization
  • Country of organization
  • Type and data of request

4. Purpose of the processing of your data

The data that is collected by The MSF Foundation in order to:

  • Answer your request
  • Give access to the Antibiogo App
  • Provide you with information on the Antibiogo App  

5. Who are the recipients of your data?

The recipients of your data are The MSF Foundation Antibiogo team. It will not be sent to anyone external to The MSF Foundation.

6. Where is your data stored?

Your data is stored within the systems of The MSF Foundation. We use the following tools to process your data : WebFlow, Fillout, Typeform and Google.

7. How long is your data kept?

Your data will not be kept for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. 
Namely, three years after last contact for prospects.

8. How is your data secured?

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect your personal data from loss, alteration or unauthorized disclosure.
These measures are for example :

  • access restriction (monitored by our Quality team)
  • Strict access management policy;
  • History logs;
  • Regular backups;
  • Physical access control to the servers; 
  • Strong authentication procedure; 
  • Personal data and security training for staff involved in the data processing 

9. What are your rights on your data?

As a data subject, you have the following rights over your data:

  • Access right: you may request confirmation that your data is processed by the Foundation MSF and obtain information on the processing activities carried out. You may also request a copy of the personal data that is processed.
  • Rectification right: you may request the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you or the completion of incomplete personal data by the Foundation MSF. 
  • Deletion right: you may request the erasure of your personal data without undue delay, in particular when these data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected 
  • Restriction right: you may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data by the Foundation MSF when you contest the processing activities carried out. In such a case, personal data will not be processed anymore with the exception of storage and for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • Objection right: you may object, at any time, to the processing of your personal data by the Foundation MSF, on grounds relating to their particular situation. Please note that the objection may be refused if the Foundation MSF demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing. 
  • Right to portability: when the processing activities are based on the contract with the Data Subject, you may request a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

If you feel that you are unable to exercise your rights, or wish to report a breach of the rules governing the protection of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).  

10. What about the cookies ? 

We use various tracers/cookies on the site to measure the audience and make sure that the site is running smoothly. These tracers/cookies enable the site's main services to function optimally. You can technically block them using your browser settings, but your experience on the site may be degraded.
In addition, you can refuse the use of audience measurement tracers that are strictly necessary for the operation and day-to-day administration of the website at the very bottom of each page of the site.
