Why This Module Matters

While Antibiogo aims to support laboratory technicians in interpreting AST results, the quality of those results begins with proper preparation. This module aligns with our commitment to addressing AMR not only through innovative tools like Antibiogo but also by building capacity through comprehensive training. The goal is to ensure laboratory technicians are fully equipped to perform AST based on international guidelines and use Antibiogo for accurate interpretation.

What’s Inside the Module

This module covers every step of the AST process, based on the latest EUCAST and CLSI guidelines, ensuring participants gain both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

With this module, you will learn:

  • How to prepare an AST correctly: from media selection to inoculation and reading
  • How to read an AST
  • How to use Antibiogo

To support active learning, the module includes exercises and quizzes to help users apply what they’ve learned. These interactive activities reinforce learning and build confidence in performing AST in the laboratory.

By participating in this course, you’ll not only gain critical knowledge in performing AST, but also learn how to use Antibiogo effectively to contribute to the broader fight against AMR. Your participation in this training helps build the skills needed to combat antimicrobial resistance and will make a tangible impact in the lab.

We Need Your Feedback

We strongly encourage you to complete this module !  Once completed, feel free to share your feedback and suggestions with us (support@antibiogo.org). Your insights are invaluable in helping us continuously improve our training and better serve your needs.
